Israeli media reported on Thursday afternoon that a difficult event took place in the Shaboura neighborhood in Rafah city, southern Gaza Strip, while the “Al-Qassam Brigades” confirmed the implementation of a complex ambush against the Israeli army.
The Hebrew newspaper “Yediot Aharonot” said: “An evacuation helicopter carrying a number of injured people landed a few minutes ago at Hadassah Ein Karem Hospital in Jerusalem,” indicating that fierce clashes took place in the Shaboura camp.
Earlier today, the “Al-Qassam Brigades”, the military wing of the “Hamas” movement, announced the execution of a compound ambush targeting Israeli soldiers and vehicles in the Shaboura camp in Rafah, southern Gaza Strip.
The Qassam Brigades said that the Israeli soldiers fled from their vehicles into the alleys of the camp and were chased by Qassam fighters who shot them at zero range.
On Saturday, the Israeli army announced the death of eight soldiers in the Gaza Strip, including a deputy company commander in the 601st Engineering Unit and an officer with the rank of captain, in the explosion of a Nimr armored personnel carrier in the Tel al-Sultan neighborhood in Rafah.
Al-Qassam Brigades confirmed carrying out a “compound ambush” against Israeli vehicles in the Saudi neighborhood in Tal al-Sultan, west of Rafah, and targeting the tower of a D9 military bulldozer with the “Al-Yasin 105” missile.
